
About John Douglas Pritchard

Hello, I’m John Douglas Pritchard, I hope you get a lot out of this book. I am not a doctor nor am I a physician or a therapist, I have no credentials or accolades to say otherwise, but what I do have is experience. I have personally experienced many of these issues in my life as you will realize after reading the first few chapters.
I had to learn from those experiences and crawl out of those predicaments by myself. There were no self-help books for many of the subjects I am covering in this book. There were some self-help books on anxiety in the early 80’s that I did read about and learn from but most of the information I share in this book about anxiety came from personal experience.
I developed the sticky notes exercise over a period of time to help myself find a way to get control of what was in my head so that it couldn't control me anymore. I took back my control like a person does when they do a system restore of their computer. I thought why can’t I do the same thing with my brain and after some time I discovered a way to do it.
Everything else about me that you might be curious about, you will discover reading about me in the first few chapters. After that you will learn many things and do some exercises that will help you regain control of your life. You will system restore yourself.
